This website is for players and coaches to develop the best, complete goalkeepers possible: mentally, physically, tactically, technically, and emotionally. It’s a tough position, but someone’s gotta do it.

“To be a good goalkeeper you have to learn every aspect of the game. You have to know everyone else's position because they're coming at you.”

-John Clarke, English soccer player and manager

Goalkeeping is not made for the faint of heart. As a keeper you have to be quick, strong, confident, courageous, loud, demanding, agile, mentally tough—just to name a few.

When young kids start to play soccer, they usually will ask to be put in the goal (probably because they’re tired and they get to use their hands). As they grow up, however, the real keepers start to find themselves being drawn to the spot between the posts.

Unfortunately, too often these kids are not taught how to properly become the complete keeper. Some coaches do not understand the role of the complete keeper and think the keeper’s only job is to keep balls out of the net, but the position is so much more than that.

This website will look at the different aspects regarding the art of goalkeeping: physicality, mental toughness, confidence, tactics, technical skills, and more. All of these will combine to make the complete goalkeeper.
